The Women in Math, Science & Engineering Living-Learning Community and Society seeks to increase the retention of women in STEM fields by:

• Promoting a supportive environment
• Encouraging participation beyond the classroom
• Providing opportunities to enhance academic and career goals through program involvement
• Exposing students to current research and careers in a variety of STEM fields
• Developing valuable relationships with scholars, researchers, and mentors in STEM
• Enhancing skills necessary to be successful as academics and future professionals
