Leadership

Welcome from the director

Olivia Mason, WIMSE Director

Welcome to the Women in Math, Science, and Engineering (WIMSE) Learning Living Community at Florida State University! Never before has there been such high demand for science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) degree holders, as they have the skillset to innovate and advance technology through breakthroughs in STEM research that directly lead to the betterment of society. This high demand has led to an unprecedented number of career opportunities for STEM graduates. To foster the development of future innovators and leaders in STEM fields, WIMSE provides a supportive community of like-minded women majoring in STEM disciplines and offers valuable and unique paid research opportunities. Collectively, the WIMSE community cultivates meaningful connections that span careers and lifetimes and illuminates the path for future generations of women in math, science, and engineering.
